Your health and dietary information is private. Capy is designed with data minimization at its core:

• We do not sell, rent, or monetize your food intake or health logs to third parties or advertisers.
• Meal photos submitted for AI vision recognition are processed solely to estimate nutritional data and are not used for user profiling.
• We do not require excessive permissions. Camera access is requested solely to scan meals and barcodes upon your explicit action.

2. Information We Process

Depending on your usage of the App, we may process:

• Food & Nutrition Logs: Meal photos you choose to capture, food titles, portion amounts, and digestive feedback notes.
• Optional Profile Metrics: Basic parameters you voluntarily configure (such as height, weight, activity frequency, and calorie targets).
• Technical Diagnostics: Anonymized crash logs and device metrics (iOS version, device model) to help us ensure stability and fix bugs.
• In-App Purchases: Handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see or store your payment card numbers.

3. Data Retention & Security

We maintain industry-standard security safeguards to protect any data transmitted to or from our servers. All communication takes place over encrypted TLS connections.
