Crucial Privacy Standard: All app selection tokens, screen time targets, and usage limits are stored entirely locally on your device via Apple's native FamilyControls and ManagedSettings frameworks. We do not have access to, collect, store, or transmit this data to any external server.

1. Information Collection

We believe in absolute data minimization. Below is the breakdown of the limited information used by the App:

Local Personalization Data: When onboarding, you can optionally provide a first name, denomination, spiritual focus, and custom goals. This data is used solely to construct personalized daily prayer guides and is stored securely in your device's local storage (UserDefaults).
Screen Time & Managed Settings: The App utilizes Apple's FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks to enable the application shielding function. Your selected applications (application tokens) are strictly stored and processed on-device by Apple's secure sandboxed frameworks. We never transmit or log this data.
Purchase and Billing Data: All payments and subscriptions are processed directly through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not collect or store your billing credentials, credit card details, or payment transactions.

2. Information Usage

We use the local personalization details solely to customize your experience within the App, including:

Generating custom scripture-infused prayers using your chosen denomination and spiritual focus.
Tracking your daily prayer streaks and goals locally on your device.
Enabling App Lock shields and managing bypass countdowns entirely offline on your phone.

3. Third-Party Services & SDKs

We do not use any external advertising networks, trackers, or user profiling SDKs. We do not share, sell, or rent any personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all of your personal configuration and progress data is stored locally on your device:

Deleting the App from your device will immediately and permanently erase all locally stored data, including your streaks, logs, personalization settings, and local tokens.
You can reset or change your personalization settings at any time in the Settings menu within the App.

5. Children's Privacy

Christian Lock is designed for users of all ages looking to improve their time management and spiritual focus. We do not knowingly collect, request, or transmit personal data from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
