1. How does Christian Lock shield distracting apps?

Christian Lock utilizes Apple's native FamilyControls technology. When you toggle shielding on, your selected apps (like Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube) are locked and replaced by a shield screen. They will not unlock until you complete your custom daily prayer flow.

2. Is my app selection or screen time data private?

Absolutely. Your selected applications, daily streaks, goals, and logs are kept entirely offline on your device using sandboxed ManagedSettings. We do not have any servers tracking your app selections or usage data.

3. What happens if I have an emergency and need access?

If you genuinely need access for work, study, or an emergency, you can tap "Need access for work?" on the lock shield screen. This will trigger a temporary 60-second emergency bypass, giving you brief access before the shield reactivates.

4. How do I change my selected apps or prayer goals?

Open the Christian Lock dashboard, tap on the Settings icon in the top right, and choose "Select Blocked Apps" or "Update Focus Areas" to adapt the App's configuration at any time.

5. How can I cancel my subscription?

All premium subscriptions are billed and managed directly through Apple. To cancel: open the App Store app, tap your Profile Picture (top right) > Subscriptions > Christian Lock > Cancel Subscription.
